We offer, accounting, tax, vat, business advisory and full range of administrative corporate services such as company secretary, bank signatories, trustee services etc. &nbsp;PALEMA was founded in 2001 and since then it aims to offer value added services to its clients.&nbsp; &nbsp;We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The duties of the position will be to handle and overview the day-to-day accounting functions, for a portfolio of international clients and prepare accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with Cyprus book-keeping regulations, VAT and VIES reporting and liaise with the auditors. It is expected that the candidate will be able to handle high level requests and complex tasks if required by clients.&nbsp; &nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Implement accounting records of day-to-day financial transactions based on accounting policies and standards in an accurate and timely manner</li><li>Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers)</li><li>Assist in the preparation of accounting reports – monthly management accounts</li><li>Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES forms</li><li>Preparation and submission of tax forms IR1, IR7 and others</li><li>Meeting deadlines for monthly closings and reconciliations, preliminary review and analysis of the trial Balance, while providing explanations when requested</li><li>Documenting and filing accounting transactions in an organised manner</li><li>Handle payroll and employee-related matters</li><li>Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.</li><li>Assist with clients’ bank payments when required.</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>At least 3 years of proven experience&nbsp;in a similar accounting role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of&nbsp;Cyprus personal and corporate tax and VAT regulations.</li><li>Excellent command of spoken and written English and Greek</li><li>Excellent communication and time management skills</li><li>Pleasant personality, professionalism, ability to work in a team, and ability to work under pressure</li></ul>&nbsp;What We Offer:<ul><li>Attractive remuneration package based on experience and qualifications.</li><li>13th salary package</li><li>Medical Insurance</li><li>Provident fund</li></ul>&nbsp;Apply by sending your CV to<a href="%20jobs@craegroup.com"> </a><a href="mailto:info@palemanet.com">info@palemanet.com</a>.&nbsp;We look forward to hearing from you!
