Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure full familiarity with departmental contracts and service orders, particularly regarding quotations and rates.</li><li>Manage project-related communications and maintain an organised digital filing system.</li><li>Attend and oversee loading, discharging, stuffing/destuffing, and transport operations at company-controlled and port facilities, ensuring all operational checks are carried out before, during, and after activities.</li><li>Support the CEO and Head of Projects Department with additional tasks and attend meetings as required.</li><li>Oversee all aspects of project accounting, including but not limited to:</li><li>Maintaining project documentation (schedules, budgets, progress reports, and meeting minutes).</li><li>Preparing Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDAs) and Final Disbursement Accounts (FDAs).</li><li>Reviewing and verifying third-party invoices, liaising with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Posting invoices into the company’s accounting system, ensuring accurate cost allocation.</li><li>Preparing daily Job Cards for client review and sign-off.</li><li>Recommending strategies to maximise profit margins.</li><li>Preparing and issuing client invoices based on signed Job Cards and supporting documentation.</li><li>Following up with clients to ensure timely collection of payments.</li></ul>&nbsp;What We’re Looking For:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Logistics, Shipping, or a related field (preferred).</li><li>3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a related field.</li><li>Strong proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office applications.</li><li> Excellent organisational and time management abilities.</li><li>Effective communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Highly detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.</li></ul>&nbsp;What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive monthly gross salary of €2,000–€2,200.</li><li>22 Paid Annual Holiday Leaves.</li><li>Bonus based on performance.</li><li>Exposure to diverse shipping and logistics operations.</li><li>Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.</li><li>Career development and growth opportunities.</li></ul>Interested candidates are invited to apply by sending their CV to <a href="mailto:hr@lavarshipping.com">hr@lavarshipping.com</a>&nbsp;mentioning &nbsp; &nbsp; the position in the subject line.
