Summary: The Assistant Storekeeper supports the smooth and compliant operation of hotel storerooms by assisting in receiving, labelling, storing, and issuing goods in accordance with inventory procedures and hygiene standards. As part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, we embody a distinctive character and personalised service, creating authentic and memorable experiences for every guest.This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our next chapter and shape the guest experience in one of the island’s most iconic hospitality settings.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assists in receiving all incoming goods by checking quantities, packaging, and basic quality against the delivery note and purchase order, under the guidance of the Head Storekeeper.</li><li>Reports any discrepancies, damages, or shortages in received items to the Head Storekeeper immediately.</li><li>Assists in preparing goods for return in case of incorrect or damaged deliveries, under direction.</li><li>Participates in the unloading and sorting of deliveries while adhering to safety practices and manual handling guidelines.</li><li>Ensures items are properly labelled and safely stored in designated areas according to storage guidelines and hotel hygiene standards.</li><li>Follows established FIFO (First-In-First-Out) rotation principles to minimize waste and preserve product quality.</li><li>Monitors shelf life and expiry dates of perishable items, promptly reporting any concerns to the Head Storekeeper.</li><li>Supports in updating inventory systems accurately and timely for all receipts, transfers, and issuances.</li><li>Prepares and organizes requisitioned goods for departments based on approved internal requests.</li><li>Supports in routine stock checks and monthly inventory counts as instructed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of physical stock.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in inventory, purchasing, or storeroom operations within a hotel or similar environment.</li><li>Good working knowledge of procurement systems.</li><li>Knowledge of FIFO, HACCP, and hygiene compliance protocols.</li><li>Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.</li><li>Very good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li><li>Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction.</li></ul>&nbsp;How to Apply Please submit your CV outlining your interest and suitability for the role to the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="http://www.thelandmarknicosiacareers.com">www.thelandmarknicosiacareers.com</a> , under the vacancy “Storekeeper” or directly through the link: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://rcr.li/NWWB">https://rcr.li/NWWB</a> .&nbsp;Thank you for considering this opportunity and for taking the time to apply.&nbsp;While we appreciate all applications, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
