We're seeking a motivated graduate for a IT Engineer role that combines hands-on technical learning with client interaction. This position offers structured training in enterprise database management while developing professional skills through direct client engagement. You'll work with Linux, Windows Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL; Oracle, and MongoDB under experienced mentorship.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Learn to install, configure, and maintain Open Source technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB databases and stack components</li><li>Gain experience with Patroni for high availability clustering</li><li>Learn InnoDB Cluster implementation for high availability clustering</li><li>Understand and practice backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery procedures</li><li>Develop bash scripting skills for database automation and monitoring</li><li>Participate in on-call support rotation with senior team guidance</li><li>Assist with client interactions and technical solutions under supervision</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Computer Science degree or equivalent technical qualification</li><li>Basic understanding of Linux/Windows Server environments</li><li>Foundational knowledge of SQL and database concepts</li><li>Comfort with terminal/command-line interfaces - willingness to learn extensive CLI work for database management and troubleshooting</li><li>Programming or scripting experience (any language)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Excellent communication skills and client-service orientation</li><li>Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced technical environment</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Comprehensive training program with mentorship</li><li>Hands-on experience with Open Source technologies</li><li>Professional development in client-facing technical roles</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Primarily office-based with occasional remote flexibility</li><li>Standard 9-5 schedule with flexible hours</li><li>Gradual introduction to on-call rotation with senior support</li><li>Supervised client engagement and technical presentations</li><li>Optional travel opportunities to client sites for implementations and training (2-3 times per year)</li></ul>This role is perfect for graduates who want to build expertise in database and systems administration while developing professional consulting skills in a supportive, learning-focused environment.&nbsp;Technical skills&nbsp;<ul><li>Database Management</li><li>OS Management</li><li>Scripting&nbsp;</li></ul>
