CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Corporate &amp; Fiduciary services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of accounting and bookkeeping duties, including the preparation of balance sheets, VAT &amp; VIES preparation, bank reconciliations, as well as processing both internal and client payroll. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, and holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification/certification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess proven experience in a relevant position, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Prior experience of working with accounting software such as Sage is highly desirable, along with advanced knowledge of MS Office applications. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary, and working hours are from 08:00 - 13:00 and 14:30 - 17:30 from Monday to Friday.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>General bookkeeping.</li><li>Preparation of balance sheets.</li><li>Tax computations and returns.</li><li>VAT preparation and submission.</li><li>VIES preparation and submission.</li><li>Preparing monthly financial reports.</li><li>Carrying out regular bank reconciliations.</li><li>International financial control, and procedures.</li><li>Processing company and client payroll.</li><li>Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.</li><li>Handling petty cash.</li><li>Preparing trial balances.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Any academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.</li><li>Holders of the LCCI Intermediate and/or Higher Certification are encouraged to apply.</li><li>Previous experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping position is essential.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.</li><li>Knowledge and/or familiarity of accounting software such as Sage is highly desirable.</li><li>Competency to learn and operate new computer software.</li><li>Excellent command of the English and Greek languages.</li></ul> To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8504.
