Responsibilities:&nbsp;This job position has the following responsibilities and duties:<ul><li>Assist tax manager in the provision of advisory and consultation services to clients on direct tax issues</li><li>Prepare and review tax memorandums for companies and individuals as assigned by the tax manager/tax supervisor</li><li>Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients to resolve issues and obtain necessary clearances, such as tax residency certificates and tax clearance for transactions</li><li>Assist in the preparation and filing of personal and corporate income tax returns</li><li>Research tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with current and future developments in local and international tax legislation/practice</li><li>Prepare and/or assist with letters/reports/advanced tax rulings of opinion in relation to Taxation matters that will need to be submitted to the clients and/or to the Cyprus Tax Department</li><li>Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies, and local file reports to support clients’ transfer pricing positions</li><li>Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;The successful candidate should have the following skills, education, and experience:<ul><li>Holder of a university degree (BSc/BA) with a background in law, accounting, finance, economics or other related fields</li><li>Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) or ADIT or other professional qualification or credential demonstrating knowledge in the field of taxation.</li><li>Sound academic record</li><li>3-4 years of related experience in an audit firm, tax practice or related role.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and individually</li><li>Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English language</li><li>Knowledge of Russian or other foreign languages is considered an advantage</li><li>IT literate and adaptable</li><li>High integrity and a positive, can-do attitude.</li></ul>&nbsp;Our firm offers:<ul><li>An attractive and competitive remuneration package in accordance with qualifications and experience</li><li>Bonus based on performance</li><li>Flexible working hours</li><li>Three days of paid sick leave per year</li><li>Corporate parking paid by the company</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and advancement</li><li>Training events that will help both your personal and professional development paid by the company</li><li>Participation in our various corporate events and activities.</li></ul>&nbsp;Application:&nbsp;If you are a motivated professional looking to advance your career and join a dynamic and growing team, please submit your resume, cover letter, and references to <a href="mailto:recruitment@splcy.com?subject=TaxSup/1/2025">recruitment@splcy.com</a>.
