Our people share a passion for igniting change and a strong service orientation that shapes our organization and those it supports.&nbsp;The Legal Advisor Role&nbsp;Key Responsibilities&nbsp;Legal:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review ongoing projects at any stage for legal, reputational, or other risks.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaise with relevant leadership, functions, or industries to ensure legal risks are identified and recommend actions or safeguards to be implemented.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide legal and risk management advice on contract management, contracting risks, and deal structuring.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Formulate legal opinions and disseminate them as communications.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Interpret and provide advice on legal documentation.&nbsp;Contract Negotiation:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage the contractual landscape from opportunity to close-out of Engagement.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assess legal implications of various opportunities and implementations for Engagements.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare, review, and modify contractual documents to assist and support various delivery activities.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Negotiate, review and draft commercial legal documentation for business transactions.&nbsp;Contract Management:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review, edit and negotiate Change Orders and Amendments to the Services Agreement.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review, edit and negotiate basic contracts and other transactional documents (e.g., SOWs, NDAs, Change Orders, and Amendments) throughout the Engagement.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaise with the Engagement management team, Quality Risk Assurance and internal Legal.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Interpret expectations, obligations, assumptions, provide business analysis for consideration, and coordinate and document changes.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicate expectations and standards with key stakeholders.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Protect interests, property, confidential information, and trademarks.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicate and summarize contract and business deal proposition to present to leadership.&nbsp;Service and Product Risk Management:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop a deep understanding of the different service and product offerings delivered in the Engagement along with their inherent risks.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Classify, evaluate, and monitor risks, and implement mitigations for the identified risks.&nbsp;Requirements&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Law.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Admitted Attorney, Solicitor, or Barrister.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; About 9 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable legal practice.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Consulting experience with another Big Four firm is preferred.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Exceptional organizational skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of the Arabic language will be regarded as an advantage.&nbsp;Benefits&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competitive remuneration package.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pension plan.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Medical coverage and life insurance.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Continuous professional development.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Flexible hours and hybrid working (adapted to team-specific operational requirements).·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Friday afternoon off throughout the year.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Public Holidays falling on weekends given as paid Wellbeing Day off on the Friday before.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Special types of leave.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Deloitte Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7/365 specialist counselling support.&nbsp;Why Deloitte?&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Be the true you!&nbsp;We foster diversity and inclusion and encourage you to bring your authentic self to work.
